Scheduling

HS Online Options is not a full-time online high school program. Students must be enrolled at their comprehensive high school within the district, with the option to take some of their classes online. Cascade, Everett, Jackson, Sequoia, and Port Gardner high school students take classes as part of their 6-period day, though online courses can be worked on at any time outside of regular, in-person classes. Classes beyond a 6-period day (a 7^th class) are available by counselor recommendation for a fee.

There is also an option for advanced middle school students to take specific high school level Math, English, and Science courses online. Please see your current school counselor for details.

Enrollment

• STEP 1:  Student registers for an HS Online course at their home comprehensive high school and are enrolled by their counselor.
• STEP 2:  Student/family downloads the required, state-mandated SOU/SLP form and returns it to HSOnlineOptions@everettsd.org. 
• STEP 3:  Students access their online course with the start of classes at the beginning of the term.

IMPORTANT NOTE: On or before the 5th day of the term, the student must turn-in the SOU/SLP and complete the Course Introduction, or the student is dropped from their HS Online course and re-scheduled into an onsite class at their school.

All courses will be hosted on the Everett School District’s CANVAS Learning Management System (LMS)

• Students use their Everett district credentials to log-in to their courses
